Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, Rutgers University ‘14

Ms. Viani, a Jr. Landscape Architect, joined the firm in February 2017, shortly after working as a Landscape Designer at a land development civil engineering firm. She graduated from Rutgers University, with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture in May of 2014. 

She is involved with several phases of project development with MKW, including conceptual and schematic design, the production of design development drawings, construction documents, cost estimates, specifications, 3D modeling, presentation graphics and renderings on a wide variety of projects.  Ms. Viani is also involved with the social media marketing of the firm as well as graphic design and production of the firm’s website.

While at MKW, Ms. Viani has developed both conceptual, schematic design presentation packages,  as well as the Construction Document packages for major projects, including Highbridge Park, a New York City Anchor Park.  For this project, she has helped develop renderings and presentation graphics for the conceptual design, the full schematic design package, including conceptual plans and sections, as well as helped to develop the Master Plan Document. She has also developed the Construction Document packages for projects such as Highbridge Park, Lancaster Host Resort, Dundee Island Playground, Lewis Playground, Morningside Playground and Harlem Lane and Frederick Johnson Playground.

Prior to joining MKW + Associates, Ms. Viani worked as a Landscape Designer for a land development civil engineering firm for two years.  Her focus within this firm was landscape and lighting design for projects ranging from small and large scale commercial development to large scale residential, as well as industrial and medical based projects.  She also assisted on various civil engineering projects from concept phase to design development phase, and she also developed feasibility studies for project sites.
