Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Ramapo College of New Jersey ‘85

Ms. Wachtler who is both bookkeeper and office manager at MKW, joined the firm in March of 2010.  She is involved in all aspects of finance within the company, including payroll/time keeping, benefits, managing client accounts, accounts receivable/accounts payable, financial statements, and reconciliations.  Ms. Wachtler also assists in marketing, client contact, and helping prepare proposals, and manages many of our clerical needs such as inventory, incoming calls and mail distribution.

Working for over 25 years with QuickBooks, Ms. Wachtler has a strong understanding and knowledge of the program and has helped streamline MKW’s financial management system.  She has managed all critical aspects of the firm’s time keeping and recording functions and has ensured a seamless integration of this function into project management and, more importantly, project invoicing.  She is also proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.  She has continued her education taking additional accounting classes at Ramapo College after completing her degree work.

Prior to joining MKW + Associates, LLC., Ms. Wachtler’s experience includes 26 years with Plumbing Maintenance Company, Inc, a private contracting company, as Office Manager/Finance and Human Resource Administrator; three years with Feiler Dental Associates as Finance and Human Resource Administrator; and Assistant Manager at Ramapo Bank of New Jersey.
