A central synthetic lawn area accommodates informal performances, fitness opportunities and community gatherings; a leaf shaped shade structure may also host focused activities where the turf provides informal seating. A basketball court, exercise equipment and a paved space to do tai chi and other activities occupies the eastern edge of the site.
This multi-use space can also support farmers' markets, fine arts fairs and exercise activities.
